Odysseus and the Cyclops

As much of a Sci-Fi fan that I am, I have always loved the story of Odysseus (sometimes referred to as Ulysses). Homer's Odyssey is a great read and has so many themes and elements that are still being explored in today's movies, games and novels.

This is a classic 'David and Goliath' scenario where the hero is up against insurmountable odds but still, because he is the hero he stands his ground.

The Cyclops is a little larger than what he is written to be but that's my artistic license trying to create even more of a sense of impending doom. :)

Welcome to Pandora

Inspired by the AVATAR teaser trailer. There was a bunch of backlash on the net about it looking 'cartoony' but I thought it looked freaking awesome! Sure, you can tell that it's CGI but if you're a true Sci-Fi/Fantasy fan, you can't really complain those rare times that a movie like this comes along.

I would have loved to have worked on this movie - the imagery is a concept artist's wet dream! :-D

Ma.K - Mercenary Infantry Concept

So far in the Maschinen Krieger universe by Kow Yokoyama there hasn't been much mention of the Infantry forces that fight alongside the Armored Suits (which are basically the tanks of Ma.K).

In response to this lack of information, I did this concept - and will probably do a few more.
