Faraway

Finished another project up this weekend (will upload that later this week) and had a bit of free time so I decided I wanted to start updating my portfolio with some environment work.

Surprise, surprise, this painting was inspired by Skyrim.

Alien Portrait

The trickiest part about this painting was getting the little guy to sit still long enough so I could sketch him. He was all ray-gun this and destroy your planet that... it was cute.

Entrance

I've been playing Skyrim again recently and I always love exploring and stumbling across random caves and dungeons... so I can explore them too.

This world is a little brighter than Skyrim's bleak and washed out colors though because I was really trying to push the chroma as high as I could and give the painting some visual punch.
