Old Man of the Forest

I finished this one a few weeks ago during any spare moment I had but had to wait to upload it until I gave the full size version to my friend for his Birthday.

It was so much fun to paint this guy (my version of Moss Man from Masters of the Universe) and keep in mind things like color contrast, soft and hard edges, subsurface scattering, etc. From a purely technical standpoint, I think this is my most accomplished work yet and I'm extremely happy with the final result.
